Back on The Creek

Eastern Sierra, Tuttle Creek, This one's for Dad.

So much has happened, life got busy, I lost my father, (friend, fishing buddy, mentor, life long advisor), so I'm going to keep this short.  I think a picture is worth a thousand words.  Thanks for understanding.

  1. Bill, sorry to hear of your loss. Good to see you back on the creek, and, if you look up every now and then from the rushing water, Dad is still there with you. Take Care.

  2. I know you're right, thanks Mel.

  3. Bill,
I came across your blog while researching areas to fish in the Eastern Sierra. I’m truly sorry to hear of your loss and by the things you mentioned about your Dad it sounds like he was a great Dad and a great human being. I hope that you will continue your blog despite your loss. I reside in the Antelope Valley in Southern California and I am planning a fishing trip in the Bishop area and I was wondering if you have any areas that you can recommend for a first timer in the area. I am researching fishing creeks just south of Bishop. I was inspired by some of your videos on taking some time off from the daily grind and just enjoy life.

  4. Thanks Luis, take a look at Upper Sage Campground just outside of Big Pine.
